IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME!

Hello everyone. It has been a super long time since I posted. Haha and this is actually only my 3rd entry. Well I offered to make some save the date cards for one of my friends, and that started me off looking for a save the date stamp. Eventually that lead me to the website http://www.flourishes.org/ I found a great stamp set there called wedding essentials. So I purchased that , but as I was browsing the site I found the websites BLOG. Even better! Of course there was a challenge posted, and I have never done a challenge before. Good thing for me I had literally 10 cards to make so I used their design as my inpiration. Here is 2 I designed. There were 2 others with this design but I mailed them out before I had a chance to photograph. Silly me. Oh well. I will post more of the cards I made after that are not included in the challenge. I hope I am considered for a chance to win because the prize is a lot of fun! 4 sets of fall themed stamps! WISH ME LUCK!

Thank you everyone for the comments. It is so exciting getting feed back! I always welcome advice and ideas so send them my way! I am mostly curious about stamping right now I really have no clue what I am doing there. There are so many types of ink and stamps, I just don't know where to start. Like what is the difference between craft ink and classic ink from stampin' up? Which one is better to use. So this is my newest quest to figure out what exactly I need to start stamping. I also have a 11 month old son Ian. He just started walking, and he LOVES to climb! So, I am also trying to figure out how I can work full time as a nurse, spend quality time with my son, and do my paper crafting as well as entertaining Ian while I am playing around. Any one have ideas on how I can make that happen! haha

My first card!

Hello everyone. This is my first blog and first post. But I just got a cricut from mothers day. yay and I found myself on the Cricut message board. Everyone has a blog! So then, I found myself searching and discovering everyones blog and ideas. I felt very inspired! So here is the first card I made! It is actually inspired by Robyn's (the pink stamper) owl card. Basically the same but I have never stamped before so I don't have a lot of supplies yet. So of course I got the wrong ink and I got a $1.00 stamp at Michaels. I hope you enjoy my first attempt!
